Be prepared for real, “down-to- earth” accounts of my life and thoughts that I live by. All short accounts of personal experiences and perceptions shared in a lighthearted and empathic way. Everything has been written with the humorous intentions and by no means meant to offend…although some may be thought provoking.
Oh dear… here goes! I was born a surprise to older parents and an annoying sibling to two teenage sisters. Being born late made my exposure to grandparents limited, that being my only Grandparent, my mother’s mother – Grandma.
While most people share fond memories of their Grandparents, my memories are limited to only to a couple – she was mean to my Mum, and she never ever gave me a present, not a one…and if I remember correctly, I was in my teens when she passed away at 92. However, one thing she did give me though, was her wondrous genetics. A very large nose, cone-shaped boobs and a huge out of proportion bottom. Yep! that’s it! No amount of dieting and exercise ever made a difference, and I was destined to be followed by a big bum for the rest of my life.
I moved my family from Central Queensland to Victoria in 2017, to start fresh and provide better opportunities for us all. At the ripe old age of 56 I have decided to embrace who I am in all my glory and start managing my mind. As much as you can try, genetics seem to win every time. Like most people, its been a challenging ride, but I’m very proud of my achievements, especially considering the never-ending battle with my mind and my weight. Here I share my stories with the hope of helping other PS women know that they are not alone.
